Crater: The sulfur lake is actually only a small part of the crater, which is about a mile wide and about 1050 feet deep. We were really lucky to see it like this; because it’s in a cloud forest, it’s typically covered in a thick layer of clouds. After we went to see Lake Botos, the clouds rolled in and completely blocked the view.
